Inspired by the beauty of the Greek, Roman and Bysantin mosaics, she decided to learn the basic techniques of the antique mosaics.

When Mathilde visited me for some time, we talked about the history of mosaics and I shared with her my knowledge.

This meeting allowed us a cultural exchange in the various artistic fields.

Being of Lebanese origin, Mathilde widened my knowledge of the Eastern culture.

When Mathilde told me her great interest for the Russian culture and language, we discussed the poetry of a great Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin.

Mathilde also has a passion for music. She plays different instruments.
